Community Outreach - Desert Springs Equestrian Center


Desert Springs is committed to reaching out to the public by supporting local groups such as youth associations and active adult communities.
	The Country Club of La Cholla selected DSEC as a destination for their weekly "Sunday Mystery Tour." The residents arrived with a box of carrots ready to spoil all the horses. They spent a couple of hours exploring the property and had a wonderful time!

	DSEC is a member of the Marana Chamber of Commerce. To honor our efforts to be a positive influence on the community we were awarded a "Nominee of Community & Business Builder of the Year Award" for 2008.

	Desert Springs Equestrian Center sponsored a soccer team of 4 and 5 year olds and provided the team with new soccer balls and water bottles! Each team member was given a ball to practice with and refreshing water to drink. The players named the team "Mustangs" in honor of DSEC and hung a stuffed horse in an orange jersey on the goal post at every game.

	The orioles T-Ball Team of Northwest Tucson held their end of season party at DSEC. The team had a picnic under the pavilion followed by cart and pony rides.
